Article 1
Ski-Way is appointed by its members to register bookings for the various types of equipment intended to be hired out by the rental shops that are part of the Ski-Way ski resort network.
Article 2
The different equipment on offer is described according to a certain classification and is available subject to confirmation by Ski-Way; this confirmation will be sent by electronic mail (e-mail), to the address supplied by the client, after receipt of a deposit payment.
Article 3
The transactions are carried out in French (translations into other languages are for information purposes only). This contract is subject to French law and all transactions take place in Euros.
Article 4
Booking payments are carried out by credit card through a secure payment system or by cheque sent by post to :

Article 5
Photographs and graphic elements presented are provided for information only and are non contractual. However, Ski-Way undertakes to supply equipment of the level of quality and technique that corresponds to the category reserved.
Article 6
The reserved equipment will be available for the rental period in the ski hire shop that is indicated on the booking confirmation.
"Any complaint relating to the rental equipment must be sent to this shop by registered letter, no more than three working days after the end of the rental period."
Article 7
The rented equipment is the client’s responsibility as soon as he/she collects it. The client must take care of the equipment and ensure that it will be used for normal leisure use, excluding all competitions except those held by organizers approved by the rental shop.
Any damage to the rental equipment will incur the costs of repair or replacement if the equipment is beyond repair.
The rental shop may provide insurance cover. This cover is exclusive to the rental shop ; Ski-Way will not become involved in any discussion between the client and the rental shop.
The equipment is hired for the client’s sole use and can under no circumstances be loaned, sub-rented or entrusted to a third party free of charge.
Article 8
The rental price stated corresponds to a duration of 1 to 14 days. The price of the equipment that is stated at the time of booking is established in order to calculate the deposit payment to be paid, also at the time of booking. The deposit payment represents 15% of this price.
The duration of the rental is fixed for the period shown on the reservation ; each day starts at 8.30 a.m. and finishes at 6 p.m..
Under no circumstances can this period be changed without prior agreement from the rental shop. The equipment is deemed to be in good condition and suitable for normal use. The client is the only one who can judge whether or not he is able to use this equipment.
The internet offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
The equipment must be collected on the agreed day ; the rental shop must be informed of any delays.
After 2 days the reservation will be cancelled and Ski-Way will retain the deposit payment.
The equipment must be returned in good condition (except for wear and tear resulting from normal use)
If the equipment is not returned, legal proceedings may be started against the client, at the client’s expense, in addition to the price of the non-returned equipment which will be invoiced at its normal sale value inclusive of taxes on the agreed return date.
Subject to availability in the rental shop, the client can exchange their equipment for other available equipment, as long as the rental price is identical or the client pays the supplement. In the event of an exchange for lower priced equipment, the difference will not be refunded.
Article 9
The client can cancel their equipment rental, as long as it is done so eight clear days before the start date by registered letter sent to :

Ski-Way will return the deposit payment in the two weeks following receipt of the request.
Should the client not make their cancellation request within the above time scale, the pre-paid amount will not be returned.
Article 10
The court that is located within the rental shop’s jurisdiction will have sole authority to deal with litigations arising from the enforcement or interpretation of these rental terms.
